About the community

PyData Kampala is a group for users and developers of data and datascience tools to share ideas and learn from each other. We gather to discuss how best to tackle the evolving challenges in data management, processing, analytics, and visualization. Our focus is to create an inclusive and welcoming environment where everyone feels comfortable sharing their experiences and knowledge. We believe that diversity and inclusion are essential for building a strong and vibrant community, and therefore we strive to create an environment that will welcome people of diverse backgrounds

We aim to be accessible, community-driven, with novice to advanced level presentations. PyData tutorials / workshops and talks bring attendees the latest project features along with cutting-edge use cases.
